Expert Witness Report

The standard hourly rate for all site inspections is $400, plus GST per hour. This rate encompasses the time spent traveling to and from the site for inspection and quotation purposes. If our quotation is approved on-site and the job commences on the same day the quote is submitted, the $400 fee is subtracted from the quoted total.
For Expert Witness Reports, we charge an hourly rate for our on-site activities, which include the examination of the property in question, compliance testing of the building, and data collection for the report. Our fees for on-site work are based on a do-and-charge model using the rate of $400 Plus GST per hour per man.
The final fee for the Expert Witness Report and Scott Schedule will be determined by the number of defects identified once the site survey is completed. Please refer to the fee schedule below for more details.

NOTE 2 There is a minimum increment of 4 hours’ worth of our time applied to any orders and should the original time allotment be exceeded, a further 4 hours shall be applicable to the final account. For example, if you have been quoted, invoiced and paid for 4 hours ($3,960 plus GST), and the final time required comes to 5 hours, your final account will be for a total of 8 hours ($7,920 plus GST).

NOTE 3 All cancelled/postponed/adjourned hearing dates have a 50% fee applicable should our office be notified with more than 7 days from the hearing date. Should the cancellation of the order be received by our office with less than 7 days’ notice from the hearing date a 100% fee is applicable, and no refund will be applied.
