We have been engaged to carry out Pre-Purchase reports on behalf of vendors/listing agents/potential purchasers, that are available to be purchased within our website.
In some cases, we may have not completed the report at the time of posting this product on our website, or we are updating or completing the report that we have earlier posted within our website for sale.
We are committed to uploading our reports to our website within 72 hours from the date and time we were on site, or your report will be released to you within 48 hours from when you have chosen to download a copy of the report from our website.
Should you choose to buy a copy of a report that is complete or that is being completed/uploaded to our website, no refunds are applicable once you have chosen to download a copy of the report from our website.
The report will be released to you once you have ordered and paid for a copy of the report.
You will receive a tax invoice, and within the tax invoice there is a hyperlink that allows you to download the report.
Should you not receive a tax invoice, please check your junk/clutter/spam folder, as it is frequently found in those locations.
In some cases, reports are not complete or are being updated at the time when you are placing your order.
If you receive a tax invoice with no hyperlink/no access to the report, your order is within our system to be released automatically once the report is complete and uploaded to our website.
Should you choose to order a report, and the report is not available at the time of you placing your order, the report will be released to you the moment it is complete. Should you lose interest in the property or should the delay in obtaining the report alter your want or need for this report, our company will NOT offer a refund or discount against the original order as long our office releases the report within 3 business days from your online order being confirmed. No refunds are applicable for a report being released within 3 days from your online order. Should our office not supply you a report within 3 business days of placing your order of an existing Pre-Purchase Building & Pest or Pre-Purchase Strata Report, a 50% refund of the initial order will be refunded upon request.
Typically, our reports are valid for 28 days from the date of the inspection being carried out, meaning that the content within the report is valid as of the day of the report being prepared or the data collected, and our inspectors are required to field any enquiries about their report for a maximum period of 28 days from the date of the inspection.
If we have completed a report on a property you are interested in but the report has expired, we recommend that you recommission our office at a reduced rate to carry out a second inspection to update the expired report in order to obtain a further 28 day expiration date on that report.
If you do not wish to download the original, expired report and would rather commission an entirely new report for the property, we can carry out a new inspection at our standard price and use the old report in gaining an understanding of the history of the property prior to re-attending, understanding the history of a property is very useful particularly if defects have been covered up.
The initial report that you are considering to buy may have been commissioned by the vendor/real estate agent or another interested buyer. Any purchaser who is considering to purchase a copy of an existing report via downloading it from our website must understand that they are agreeing with the Pre-Inspection Agreement that exists between the original commissioning party and The Property Inspectors that was in place at the time of the initial report being commissioned
